Welcome to Somatio Blog!

Single and free, I’m living a dream. I love anything that has to do with cars. My friends call me a motor head, but my real name is Nick. Feel free to call me either. I started working on cars with my dad when I was only 5 years old. Dad owned his own garage, and there was always a car to work on. On the weekends we would go to car shows or expos. He kept up on his skill, and I must say he was a master at tearing a car apart and putting it back together.

My purpose for somatio blog is to write about all my motor head knowledge. From how to guides to the latest in the automobile industry. I really love teaching what I know, and I think I have a lot of valuable information that others would appreciate.

I am 28 and really have no plans for the days ahead. I work independently at a shop I rent out. I would enjoy owning my own shop, as renting can get pricy. Other than being a motor head, I enjoy music. I taught myself how to play guitar at a young age, and I have played with many different bands. I really enjoy going camping and sitting around the campfire playing my guitar. There is something comforting about spending the evening with friends, and enjoying good music.

I went to a trade school to perfect my motor head skills. I actually graduated top of my class. That surprises some people because I have chosen to tinker with cars. Life is about doing what you love, and for me that is being in the garage. I have picked up a love for blogging. I helped a friend set up their blog, and even wrote a few for him. It got me excited enough to want my own.

I really hope you enjoy the variety that my blog offers. I will try to touch on all subjects so that you can come to one place and get a general knowledge for all things dealing with automobiles. Right down to paint jobs. I have dabbled in custom painting, as my friend owns a custom paint shop. There are a lot of details when it comes to painting, so I will probably only skim the surface. Who knows, I may get brave and try to learn something new myself.

There is always something new to learn, and I never get bored of it. I love to have my mind and hands busy at the same time. Keeps me out of trouble…lol. I live close to my parents, and help them with their daily needs. They are getting up in age, and as long as I can help them, I will. My parents are a huge part of who I am, and I am thankful to be able to help them at this point in their life.

Well, that’s me in a nutshell. I look forward to writing, and reading your comments. Stop by often, and suggestions are always welcome.
